In order to improve the intelligence of the valve controller, an intelligent valve electric controller needs to be studied. The controller needs to have a good man-machine interface to facilitate the on-site personnel operation to intelligently indicate the valve fault conditions; to support field bus technology, to facilitate on-site personnel troubleshooting and remote fault diagnosis, the controller is stable and reliable, which can be reduced with the foreign valve controller The gap between manufacturers. This paper first introduces the development trend of the valve electric controller, and expounds the working mechanism of its brushless DC motor.

At present, the valves produced in China are mainly controlled by mechanical devices and simple analog electronic technologies. The technical content of valve controllers is relatively low. With the rapid development of modern industrialization, intelligent diagnostic technology, automatic control technology, power electronics technology, and communications technology have become highly integrated. Therefore, it is necessary for the valve equipment to increase the degree of intelligence to meet the requirements of industrial automation. The valve electric controller is one of the important components of the valve. How to improve the valve operating characteristics, improve the valve opening control accuracy, flexibly adjust the valve switching time, intelligent diagnosis of valve failure and increase the valve remote control mode [3], has become a valve The focus of industry research. Therefore, it is very important to study the controller of the electric control valve.
Valves are widely used in industrial control, and their role in industrial production is very important. With the gradual increase in the level of industrial automation, the electric valve has gradually replaced the traditional hydraulic and pneumatic drive valves due to the advantages of simple power supply and convenient on-site maintenance, and is widely used in industrial control. In particular, the emergence of intelligent electric valves has been favored by customers in the industrial field because of its various fault protection methods, high control accuracy, high reliability, and small size.
Second, the development status and trends of valve electric controller With the development of power electronics technology, field bus technology and motor control theory and technology, the comprehensive performance index of valve electric controller has been continuously improved to meet the quality and reliability of industrial control, fault intelligence Diagnostic, remote control and other requirements, so the intelligent valve electric controller is widely used. For the key part of the valve electric controller - electric controller, a lot of research and development work has been carried out all over the world. In the early 1990s, industrial control giants in many developed countries in Europe and America developed new products for valve electric controllers. They can meet the needs of different industrial applications. These products have complete functions, simple operation, stable performance, and support for multiple controls. In a way, they all comply with the international standard for valve electric controllers, and their comprehensive performance is strong. There are numerous manufacturers of valve electric controllers, of which internationally renowned SIEMENS, ZMG, USA BAILEY, UK ROTORK, Japan's FUJI, Yaskawa etc. The main feature of ROTORK's IQ series intelligent valve device is that it can be opened and closed without maintenance. The valve parameters can be set by infrared remote control. The parameters of the LCD display are intuitive, the protection level of the enclosure can reach IP68, and it is compatible with IrDA standard and can support the computer. Remotely analyze and diagnose valve status, advanced valve control technology, and support for a variety of fieldbus communication protocols. The research of the domestic valve electric controller started relatively late. The initial development was mainly through imitating foreign advanced products, but some core technologies have not yet been mastered. However, some scientific research institutes in China have begun to develop valve electric controllers. The Shanghai Industrial Automation Instrumentation Research Institute has developed a new intelligent valve electric controller with high control accuracy, simple maintenance, and a high degree of intelligence, supporting a variety of field buses. Communication protocol, but the protection level of the shell of the device is not high, and the protection method of the valve is not as strong as similar foreign products. After a period of development, the gap between domestic valve electric controller products and foreign countries is gradually narrowing.

1. The controller is set by the infrared remote control. The traditional valve electric controller supports the remote control setting parameter function. Modifying the valve torque protection value does not need to open the lid to adjust the circuit element to adjust the torque protection value, nor does it need to pass the traditional valve. The mechanical device changes the torque protection value and sets the fully open position and fully closed position of the valve. The infrared remote control can conveniently and quickly calibrate the valve fully open and fully close positions, and set the torque protection value and communication address of the valve electric controller. Smaller on-site engineering personnel's commissioning workload has increased the efficiency of engineering staff.
2. High degree of intelligent controller Firstly, the valve electric controller can display various status information of the valve to the on-site control personnel through the information display window such as the liquid crystal display or the digital tube. When the valve fails, the information display window can be used quickly. When the fault is displayed, the on-site control personnel can quickly solve the problem according to the fault prompt. This reduces on-site maintenance diagnostic time and enables quick return to normal production. Secondly, the valve electric controller has various protection functions. For example, the valve gearbox is often damaged because the torque protection function is not timely, and the intelligent valve electric controller can detect the valve torque value in real time and provide timely protection when the torque value is abnormal. In addition, the valve electric controller also has a powerful fault self-diagnosis function, real-time detection of valve failure at each stage of the valve operation, timely prompting the staff when there is a fault, to facilitate the timely solution of the staff, if it can not be solved, the valve electric controller also With remote diagnosis function, the fault information can be uploaded to the controller manufacturer through the intelligent network, which facilitates timely analysis and resolution by the experts of the manufacturer. This also improves the efficiency of problem solving and reduces the cost of valve manufacturer's later maintenance.
3. Supports fieldbus control The intelligent valve electric controller can be connected to the host computer through industrial fieldbus technology to support remote control of the valve, so that the staff can remotely monitor the valve status information through the computer, modify the valve opening, the valve Control method and communication address of valve controller. It can be seen that the application prospects of the intelligent valve electric controller are broad, and the fieldbus control also meets the development trend of intelligent and networked electric valve control devices.
