Chen Hong, general manager of Chongqing Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and Ren Letian, general manager of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd. signed the “High-intensity Shipboard Supply Agreement†on behalf of both parties. Ren Letian thanked Chongqing Iron & Steel for the true strategic positioning of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd., and timely solved the production and supply of high-strength ship plates for shipbuilding.

At the same time, the company has surpassed domestic peers in the field of ultra-high-strength marine steel production. On August 26 this year, the highest grades of heavy steel, EH40, E460 and E47, passed the type test of China Classification Society (CCS), DNV, and German Lloyd's Register (GL). The on-site signature is approved to a thickness of 70mm.
