Delfast is taking a bold step forward by launching a new crowdfunding campaign on Fundable, the leading platform for small businesses seeking capital. The goal is to raise $3 million to build a state-of-the-art R&D center that will meet the growing global demand for electric bikes and fulfill over $100 million in letters of intent already received.

The e-bike market has seen explosive growth since the pandemic began, with demand doubling in just a few months. Delfast has experienced tremendous success, with sales jumping 405% from Q1 to Q2 and 222% over the last three months. This year alone, the company hit $2 million in sales, far surpassing the $552,000 recorded in 2019.

In October, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky publicly supported Delfast’s e-bike initiative during a visit to Unit City, Ukraine’s first innovation park. There, he met with Delfast and other startups to discuss their progress amid the ongoing pandemic.

Three years ago, Delfast made headlines with a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised $165,000 from 75 backers. This time around, the company is offering even more advanced electric bike models—featuring top-tier speed, range, and power that redefine what’s possible on two wheels.

Founded in 2014 by Daniel Tonkopiy and Serhii Denysenko as an eco-friendly delivery service, Delfast quickly evolved into an industry leader. In 2017, the company set a Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled on an electric bicycle—367 km on a single charge.
