Berwyn has been added to the site
The Berwyn Fire Department, part of MABAS Division 11, has recently been added to the site thanks to the dedication of several community members. The photos featured here come from Drew Gresik, Steve Redick, Hank Sajovic, and Larry Shapiro, who generously contributed images to showcase the department's stations and equipment. Berwyn is a career fire department with 79 full-time personnel, operating out of three stations that cover just under four square miles. Their fleet includes a mix of apparatus, such as three units from Seagrave, an engine from Pierce, and their latest addition—a brand-new engine from Crimson.
Berwyn Station 1, located at 6434 Windsor Avenue, serves as the department’s southern station. This photo, taken by Hank Sajovic, gives a glimpse into the daily operations of the station. Another key location is Station 2, situated at 6615 16th Street, which serves the northern part of the district. This image was captured by Larry Shapiro, offering a view of the station’s exterior and its well-maintained facilities.
In addition to the stations, the department is equipped with a variety of apparatus.
