Tim Olk has shared a series of compelling images capturing the recent brush fire in Potawatami Woods, located in Prospect Heights. These photos provide a vivid look at the efforts of local firefighters as they worked to contain the rapidly spreading flames.
The first image shows firefighters from the Prospect Heights Fire Department responding to a growing brush fire in the Potawatami Woods Forest Preserve, near Dundee and Portwine Roads. The scene highlights the urgency of the situation as emergency personnel work to control the blaze.
