In 2013, the LNG tractor fleet in Shenzhen increased to a thousand emissions reduction of 20,000 tons

The reporter recently learned from Shenzhen that the first LNG refueling station in Shenzhen has been officially completed and put into use, and the first batch of 50 LNG traction trucks have also been successfully delivered outside the port area. According to industry experts, the number of liquefied natural gas tractors in Shenzhen will increase to approximately 1,000 vehicles in 2013, and the annual reduction in carbon emissions brought by this industry will reach more than 20,000 tons.

The industry insiders of LNG traction trucks have their own opinions. Some industry experts say that although liquefied natural gas vehicles have many advantages in the running process, the current low number of filling stations has become a constraint on liquefied natural gas traction. Cars are an important factor in promoting.

It is understood that Shenzhen is currently working hard to solve this problem, starting from the aspect of gas source protection to do a good job in the promotion of natural gas tractors. It is learned that according to the deployment of CNPC, the gas sources in the Pearl River Delta region will enter Guangdong in June 2013. In December 2013, the West Third Line formally entered into Guangdong. By then, the natural gas supply capacity in the Pearl River Delta will increase from 10 billion cubic meters to 50 billion cubic meters. Vehicles and industrial users will receive stronger protection in the use of natural gas.

At present, Shenzhen's dump trucks and tractors' oil-to-gas conversion are actively promoting the process. Shenzhen plans to put into operation four LNG filling stations in May this year. In the first half of this year, there will be eighteen LNG refueling stations in Shenzhen. Achieve formal business to the outside world, will meet more gas dedicated car refueling needs.
