According to Qu Jiashu, deputy secretary-general of the Organizing Committee Secretariat and deputy director of the Guangdong Provincial Ocean and Fisheries Bureau, the current Haibo Expo has attracted eight coastal provinces of Shanghai, Tianjin, Shandong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangxi, Hainan, and Guangdong. Three cities in Dalian, Qingdao and Shenzhen will participate in the project. In this exhibition, China's independent design and construction of the offshore oil "981" drilling platform, "Dragon" manned deep diving vehicle model to meet with the audience. Among them, the Guangdong pavilion, with an area of ​​300 square meters, uses advanced technology to display three-dimensionally the construction achievements and planning blueprint of Guangdong's marine economic comprehensive experimental zone. In addition, blue Guangdong sand table, seawater desalination unit, wave power generation unit and other models also met with the audience.

While participating in the popularity of the exhibition, the investment attraction of this Haibo Fair has also greatly increased. According to the briefing, the Haibao Convention project is dominated by large projects covering port construction, port industry, petrochemical energy, marine equipment, and other marine emerging industry projects such as yacht industry and marine biology. According to Lai Naihong, a researcher of the Foreign Investment Promotion Office of the Guangdong Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Department, the amount of this year's Haibo Expo should exceed the previous one, reflecting the new trend of Guangdong's marine economic development.

It is also known that after the GDP of Guangdong's marine economy reached 987.7 billion yuan last year, it is expected to achieve a growth of more than 10% this year, and the annual output value will exceed the trillion yuan mark. Among them, major projects such as petrochemicals, ports, and deepwater ocean equipment manufacturing have contributed the most.
