Working fire in Chicago, 7/311/16
This is from Eric Haak:
Around 4:45 PM on Sunday (July 31), I followed Engine 65 and Truck 52 heading down Archer Avenue towards an active fire at the intersection of 36th and Rockwell. The firefighters quickly managed to control the blaze from the back door and then entered the building to thoroughly extinguish any remaining flames. It seemed like the fire was mostly confined to the rear porches, and within just a few minutes, it was largely under control. Engine 65 was operating as the backup rig, while Engine 39 set up a secondary hose line through the front entrance.
