Oak Forest is on the site
The Oak Forest Fire Department, part of MABAS Division 24, has recently been added to the site. The department serves a 5.6 square mile area with two fire stations. They have a total of 28 full-time and 31 paid-on-call firefighters, making them a well-equipped and responsive department. Their fire suppression equipment is primarily manufactured by Pierce, though they also operate an HME/Luverne engine. Most of their apparatus is painted black over red, giving it a strong and professional appearance. Two ambulances, however, are white. The newest ambulance, a Lifeline model, was recently acquired and is painted in the same black-over-red scheme as the rest of the fleet.
In addition to station and apparatus photos, Karl Klotz contributed detailed close-up shots of company decals from three of the department's vehicles.
