A few days ago, I came across some exciting updates on Bloomingdale, IL’s new fire apparatus. The pictures shared show significant progress—things are really starting to take shape! It's always fascinating to see these vehicles evolve from concept to reality.
Here are some snapshots of the new Sutphen fire engine under construction:
This first image gives us a great look at the initial build stages. You can already tell there’s a lot of attention to detail going into every part of this vehicle.
In this next shot, we get a slightly different angle that highlights the cab design. It looks sleek yet robust, which is exactly what you’d expect from a top-tier fire engine.
Another view showcasing more of the chassis work. The craftsmanship here is impressive, and it’s clear they’re aiming for both functionality and durability.
This image focuses on another aspect of the build process. The team behind this project seems to be doing an excellent job maintaining quality throughout.
