Zeng Guangan introduced that in more than ten years ago, excavators needed to monitor movements in the field. Early Liugong used GPS monitoring to locate excavators, and now can monitor the start time, efficiency, and fuel consumption of excavators. Through data collection and analysis, we can first find out the length of the excavator's operation time. For example, the average working time of Liugong's excavators last year was three times that of the beginning of 2016, which means that the same excavator had a large workload at the same time. Secondly, the excavator can also monitor economic activities in different regions and a variety of different operating methods. Therefore, the "Excavator Index" reflects the development of China's economic construction to a certain extent, especially in terms of investment and extractive industries, which is a very lively indicator and a small "barometer" of the national economy.

Speaking of the data confidentiality issues associated with excavators, Zeng Guang'an said that the specific data is confidential because it involves Liugong's technical information and customer representative's data, which can be used to improve the next generation of product development and excavator work. effectiveness. "First, the quality, reliability, and performance of the excavator can be improved with this data. Second, we can instruct our customers to improve the efficiency of the excavator's operations and spend less for greater output."

Speaking of how to improve the use of excavator index in the next step, Zeng Guangan said that in the future, terrain sensing may be added to reflect the operating environment of the machine and the development of drone excavator technology will begin.
