Tiantong Environmental Protection builds a new blueprint for sludge treatment technology

On April 16, the State promulgated the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Action Plan (referred to as the "Water Ten Article"), which is divided into nine key areas of remediation, referring sludge treatment to a location that is equally important as sewage treatment. “Water 10” clearly stated that the existing sludge treatment and disposal facilities should basically complete the standard transformation by the end of 2017, and the harmless treatment and disposal rate of the municipal sludge at the land-level and above should reach 90% by the end of 2020.

This has greatly contributed to the implementation of the department's decomposition task in the second half of the year. The industry predicts that in the next few years, the target for sludge treatment will be clear, and the sludge market is expected to increase development. In the next five years, the investment scale is expected to reach 36 billion. The low sludge treatment rate and the large demand for real estate have made the status of sludge treatment and disposal prominent in environmental governance, and the development of more advanced technologies is particularly urgent.

Rail Track Measurement

The irregularities present in the track are the primary causes of vibration and these should be identified and the faults rectified to increase the safety of train travel. In this paper, a differential evolution technique based track measurement system is proposed to measure the health of the track. The abnormality of the track has been measured using micro electro mechanical system accelerometers which are mounted in the axle box. A new sensing method is used to estimate the exact location of the irregularity even when the signal is absent.
