The service life is generally short, and a large number of used batteries are generated every year, posing a serious pollution hazard. The harm caused by an electric car battery is not much larger than that of a normal dry battery. Most of these waste batteries are recycled by some self-employed, land-receiving or repair shops. The treatment method is also very simple: after the acid in the battery is drained, the metal lead inside the battery is taken out for sale. These fallen acid liquids contain various heavy metals such as zinc, manganese and cadmium. Most of these harmful acid liquids containing heavy metals directly enter the sewer and are discharged to the wastewater treatment plant. In rural areas, it may penetrate into the groundwater, resulting in more serious consequence.

With the development of the economy, the amount of waste batteries generated in rural areas is also growing. If these batteries cannot be recovered and disposed of in time, they will pose an inestimable hazard to rural water and land security. Therefore, it is necessary to step up the recycling of used batteries, and the specific implementation method:

(1) Government departments must play a real role in this work. They must formulate detailed rules for battery recycling, so that there is no incentive or punishment for recycling and non-recycling. The relevant functional departments cannot make specific targets for production enterprises, recycling departments, and individuals. There is a fundamental change in the phenomenon of sexual guidance.
