New Voluntary Recall of Tundra Trucks
Toyota has issued a voluntary recall for certain Tundra models due to an issue with the rear drive shaft. Although no accidents involving injuries or fatalities have been reported, the automaker identified one case where a component broke, prompting this precautionary action. The affected part is the shaft slip yoke, which is currently under investigation. All other Toyota components remain fully functional.
The recall will impact approximately 51,000 vehicles from the 2011 model year. Owners of these vehicles will be notified by first-class mail starting in May 2011.
