It can be either a simple load-sensitive manual multi-way valve or an electrically-controlled proportional control valve with a non-saturation function that is independent of the load and the pump flow. At present, China's research on multi-way valves still needs to increase research and development efforts.
At present, there are 7 companies that independently design and produce multi-way valves in the world, and 6 of them have become suppliers to Oman. Among them, the products of the two companies in the United States and Norway are already world-renowned brands, and the Taurus company from Karamay has become Oman's 7th supplier.
At present, Taurus has obtained 9 domestic patents, 1 U.S. patent, 1 Canadian patent, and 2 European and Asian patents. Last year, Taurus applied for an international trademark, and in January this year passed the Madrid International Trademark Certification.
Karamay develops new multi-way valve to enter the oil market
[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] Recently, the workers of the Karamay Jinniu Xintai Petroleum Equipment Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Jinniu Companyâ€) are manufacturing non-stop valves. It is expected that this multi-way valve will enter the Oman oil market as the first domestically-manufactured multi-way valve in April. This is also the first time that Oman Petroleum Development Company has accepted such products supplied by Chinese suppliers. Oman, located in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula, is a state oil company controlled by the Oman government. It owns 90% of oil reserves in Oman and accounts for 85% of domestic oil production. At present, more than 2,000 multi-way valves in Xinjiang Oilfield are manufactured by the company. On November 26 last year, Taurus passed the audit of Oman and obtained the Qualified Supplier Qualification Certificate, becoming the first Chinese company to manufacture multi-way valves for Oman.
