Chinese submarine robot passed the acceptance

The submarine robot “testing worker” jointly developed by many Chinese units – “Crawler and Detection System in Submarine Pipeline” has recently passed the acceptance of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.

The precise location of defect detection and leakage points in China's subsea oil and gas pipelines has long been a problem. The "Submarine Pipeline Creeper and Detection System" jointly developed by Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shandong Shengli Oilfield and Harbin Institute of Technology has been conducting research for five years.

Recently, in the 100-meter pipeline of the Beach and Sea Engineering Simulation Laboratory of Shandong Shengli Oilfield Drilling Institute, the engineering prototype of the “Crawler and Detection System in Submarine Pipeline” was tested. The robot "detector" is shaped like a small train, connected in sections, consisting of a drive ring, power supply, ultrasonic acquisition and memory, and ultrasonic probes. The "detector" is placed in the pipeline by the launching device, and it can freely travel by the oil pressure difference of the oil pipeline, and a large amount of data is measured by the ultrasonic wave emission and echo. After completing the task, the “testing worker” is pulled out of the pipeline by the playback device, and the scientific researcher takes out a large amount of data from the detector, and after calculation and analysis, decides whether the pipeline needs to be repaired.

It is reported that two months later, the robot "testing workers" will sink into the unpredictable sea to accept the actual test.

Film-forming

The excellent SEI film is incompatible with organic solvents, allowing lithium ions to freely enter and exit the electrode while solvent molecules cannot pass through, thereby preventing the co-insertion of solvent molecules from damaging the electrode and improving battery cycle efficiency and reversible capacity. It is mainly divided into inorganic film-forming additives and organic film-forming additives. With the help of the electron-withdrawing effect of halogen atoms, the ability of the central atom to obtain electricity is improved, so that the additives can be reduced under higher potential conditions and effectively passivate the electrode surface to form a stable SEI film.
