As seen around … Bolingbrook
I recently came across some great photos of fire trucks from the Chicagoland area on Instagram. One post caught my eye—it was a visit to the Bolingbrook Fire Department’s Station 3. They shared some awesome details about what they have at this station.
They mentioned that Station 3 is home to three key vehicles: Engine 3, Medic 3, and Medic 7. It’s always fascinating to see how different stations are equipped to handle emergencies in their areas.
To give you an idea of what these trucks look like, here’s a photo of an E-ONE Quest fire engine, which looks quite similar to what they might have at Station 3. I found this image really striking because of its sleek design and vibrant colors.
Below are some more photos I found in the same series. Unfortunately, I couldn’t embed the full gallery directly, but you can imagine how cool it would be to see these vehicles up close. Each one seems to be packed with advanced features designed for safety and efficiency.
If you ever get the chance to visit a local fire station, I highly recommend it. There’s something truly inspiring about seeing these life-saving machines in person. And who knows? You might even get a chance to learn more about how firefighters prepare themselves to protect our communities!
Here's a sneak peek at some of the other images from the gallery:

Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could all take a virtual tour of these stations someday? Until then, posts like these on social media are a great way to appreciate the hard work and dedication of our first responders.
Let me know if you’ve ever been lucky enough to see any of these trucks up close! I’d love to hear your thoughts or any stories you might have about fire departments in your area.
