The fact that they had a truck on the roof shows the seriousness of the situation, even though the fire was already under control by the time I got there. Riverside Full Still Alarm 8-2-12
Today I visited the fire at 340 Selborne Road in Riverside. By the time I arrived, the fire had already been knocked down, but there were still some great photo opportunities with the equipment that was on scene. I believe they had two, maybe even three hose lines stretched, and Riverside's Truck 1629 was sent to the roof.
The ambulance at the scene used to be 1614, but it's now 1624—a 2003 Ford E-450/Medtec unit. It was interesting to see how the department has updated their fleet over the years.
